We had a shrimp boil at my Nanas house!!!

We also played Redneck Golf

(which is SERIOUSLY fun!!!!)

We had a great time just hanging out

with family and friends :)

July 9th, 2011

Khy and myself woke up early

to attend the Early Settlers Day Parade!

Khy had a great time.. I was HOT HOT HOT!

Khy even got a tattoo!

We ended up leaving around 1230 and went home

and took a nice long nap under the A/C!

Daddy was helping a friend with his house..

so it was just mommy and baby!

We ended the day by eating with Khy's

boyfriend and his mom and sisters :) LOL

and then we went to the park for a bit!

July 10th, 2011

Khy's FIRST time to go to

Chuck E. Cheese

She had so much fun just running around!

She is so independent and

loves to do things on her own! :)

After leaving Chuck E. Cheese

we went to the mall to get

Khy's FIRST haircut!!!!!

She did GREAT!

I couldnt believe how awesome she did!

We ended the day by Khy Baby

trying to rip her diaper off!

I was screaming STOPPPP!!!

and then asked if she needed to go potty...

She nodded her head and then ran to the bathroom!

First time to potty in the potty!

Go Khy!!!!

What a BIG day she had!! :)

guess what - he survived it too! :)

Thursday June 30th

I was HONORED to take pictures of a wonderful

family that is so dear to my heart!!!

I am SOO proud of myself of how they turned out!!! :)

Friday July 1st -

I got the opportunity to photograph

a WEDDING!!!!!

It was a GREAT experience.. and I was

VERY honored to do take pictures of their special day!

Saturday

July 2nd

We woke up super early and got to go to

Lubbock with my Nana to see my brother!

Khy Baby stayed with my Dad and DeeDee..

she had a blast!

It was nice to spend time with the Nephew

and also see my brother!

That afternoon my nephew and Khy got

to play on the slip and slide!

 They were pretty funny to watch!!

Saturday evening we went to a birthday

party at the City Pool!

It was a lot of fun.. Khy even went down the slide!!!!

Sunday July 3rd

Went to church... out to eat.. and then

we did a whole lot of nothing.. lol

Ohh.. we did cook burgers on my husbands new grill

that he got for fathers day!

Monday July 4th

Khy set a record of the longest she had slept in!

10:15am!!!!!!

When we finally got up and got around

we went to Lubbock to

see what all the talk was about

(4th on Broadway)

it was VERY hot.. but the music and lemonade was awesome!

Wish we would have gone earlier to see the parade!

This week has flown on by.. and here it is FRIDAY..

Tonight we will be having a shrip boil and play some

redneck golf at my Nanas house! :)

Tomorrow is Early Settlers and we are going to

honestly try and make the parade.. I think Khy

would LOVE it! :)



Now that wasnt so bad...

I survived night 3!

and actually slept pretty decent! :)

My husband went and got Khy from daycare

around 2pm and spent some time with her!!!

She came back the happiest kid because

she finally got to spend some time with Daddy!! :)

I survived night two...

Last night was the SECOND night that

my husband has been on night shift..

working 6pm-6am... but since he works

and hour away.. hes gone from 5pm-7am :(

Khy's been asking for her daddy as soon as we get

home everyday because he is usually home w/in the hour

that we are.. and they go feed and water our outside dog together..

that's "their" time...

I know it's part of it.. but .. its hard to hear

her ask for "dadda"... She gets to see him for maybe 5 minutes in

the morning before I have to leave for work and take her to school!

I know we will figure it out.. but there has to be some way

for them to spend sometime together..

she used to get around 2 hours a day.. give or take..

so hopefully this weekend.. we can have some major

daddy-daughter bonding time for them!!!

I know he misses her just as much as she misses him!!!

Heck.. I even miss him! It's boring w/o him at night..

watching "our" shows all by my lonesome self!!!!

This weekend Im going to attempt to make

blue cheese stuffed burgers... Im super excited..

My husband got a grill for Father's Day and we

have YET to use it!!!

I got a terrible terrible burn on Friday

and I used the SPRAY SCREEN...

I will not make that mistake again!!!!

So the year isn't "technically" HALF over.. but it's close

enough to say that...

I just can not believe how fast this year has gone...

In less than a month.. Khy will be a

YEAR and a HALF..

18 months..

6 more months until she's TWO..

My baby brother....

is a SENIOR!!!!!

I remember the day he was born...

Mom went to the Dr.. so we

stayed at Nana's house with Slugger..

We played basketball..

Then we found out that my new baby brother

was born at HOME.. in our living room!!!!!

delivered him!!!

We've been soo busy.. or SICK!

This last weekend we had Easter

with my family :)

It was fun and relaxing.. but

Khy was being a fuss bucket because

she wasnt feeling well.

but its always a GREAT time

when you're with loved ones!

Yesterday was a MUCH needed day...

we did NOTHING at ALL...

We watched movies and played with Khy Baby :)

New Camera!

Last weekend my WONDERFUL husband

bought me a NEW camera!!!! :)

He bought me a Nikon D3100 :) and boy

am I excited to learn it!!!

Before we left town on Sunday to travel home

we stopped at the Church and Alley that

we took our engagement pics at!

We had SOO much fun chasing Khy around.. lol..

......Easter Weekend!

Easter weekend we traveled to visit the In-Laws :)

We had so much fun.. and are STILL trying

to catch up from traveling! :)

Khy was such a trooper this weekend!

We were out at the lake almost ALL day

on Saturday and she did GREAT!

We let her hunt Easter eggs that evening..

and oh gosh! She was a hoot!!

She would shake the eggs.. and if

she didnt like the sound.. she threw them out!

They will be camping...

6mo for Maddiebug...

and when I get frustrated I just thank God for

all my time with Khyler...

today is Maddie's 6month birthday...

and in honor of her Khy Baby wore her ladybug overalls!!!!

Easter Pictures...

Last Thursday we went and took Khy's

Easter pictures! I left work a tad early - and swung

by and bought her a new dress and then we headed

on our way! When we got there... Khy was NOT warming up

to JRN or her assistant... She was NOT having taking pictures..

JRN Photography had to move onto the next person since

time was cruntched - being it was a mini session...

I chose to stay and let Khy get familiar with the area..

in case JRN could get back to Khy - even for a second..

BOY am I glad I did!!!! She actually caught a smile!!! :)

We had so much fun!

We started off by eating at Roadhouse....

then went for Pedi's and did a little shopping!

We are going to try and do this once a month!! :)

at Shoe Carnival!!!

When I put them on her to show her...

she cracked up.. stomped her foot and cracked up again!

She still finds them funny!! HaHa.

Sunday... was the funnest day!!!

We got to see

SESAME STREET LIVE!!!

We got to go an hour before and meet

two characters!

We met Abby Cadabby and Cookie Monster!

Khy did SO good! She wouldnt sit with them..

but she wanted to give them high fives

and she didnt even cry!! WHOO HOO!!!
