Did you think I forgot?

I havent blogged in a while...

I know I know...

Things have been SUPER busy around here!

Last week...

Khy was sick... she had adenovirus...

so that made for a LONG week!

Friday...

My nephew came to stay with us!

We went to the park and fed the ducks..

went to eat at Larry's... and

Saturday morning went to Mickey D's

for breakfast!

Sunday..

We cooked out..

second Sunday in a row.. It was nice!

and Monday - Today..

Ive been playing catch up

from missing work last week!!

BLAH..

So.. that's why Ive been MIA..

Im also not one to ask for prayers.. but could you please

say a little prayer for my family...

we've had a bit of a rough patch these passed few weeks!

Still.. "Letting God"

Im still going by this.... 

 "Let Go and Let God"...

God is in control.. and although it saddens us..

and sometimes we do not understand "Why"...

there is a reason for everything He does!

Date Night and Day!

Friday night.. my WONDERFUL husband took

me to dinner and a movie!

Oh how I love him! :)

We went and ate at Rock Fish --- awwwesome!

and then went and saw The Lincoln Lawyer.

The movie was good.. but it was

wayyyy to slow for me! But anything with Matthew McConaughey and

Ryan Phillippe is DEF worth watching ;)

Friday night was the FIRST night

Khy has EVER stayed the night with anyone!

She stayed with my Mom - and did great!

I was texting my mom Saturday morning at 8am

and Khy was STILL asleep!

Saturday morning - Khy, myself, Gram (my mom) and Kutter

went and ate breakfast together!

Then - Khy, myself and Naro all went to Lubbock!

We did a little shopping for new shoes :)

Khy LOOOOVES shoes!

After that we went to a bday party ... it was so

funny to watch people skating. LOL!

and we ended the evening by having

dinner at my Dads house!

It was yummy and good to spend some time with them!

Sunday... oh Sunday!

My lovely husband helped me clean up the house

and then we cooked out Ranch Burgers!!

YUMMM.....

All in All.... GREAT WEEKEND with GREAT PEOPLE!!!!

Today is the day to

-- Let Go.. and Let God... 

We know what we want, God...

but I am putting my faith in YOU...

and letting you be in control...

This is so hard.. but my faith is strong enough....

and I trust you...

Another YEAR older...

Yesterday was my birthday... 

it was a GREAT day...

I got to spend time with the most important people in my life..

and I loved everything about it!

Im so blessed to have my family and my TRUE friends

here with me... they get me through...

and Im so very thankful for them....

Today..  my husband is taking me out... to dinner.. and possibly a movie..

we cant decide if we want to take Khy or not...

I would love both.. spending time with my little family...

and also just spending some time with my husband...

so - we shall see what happens... :)

Yesterday was a month since Kellie and James

 Staats lost their precious baby girl Maddie Paige..

I think about them often... and continue to follow her blog!

She has been such an insiration to me..

and thru her.. I think Ive become a

stronger - person, mommy, wife.. everything...

I can't believe a whole year has come and gone...

today.. I am one year older...

Crazy how fast time flies...

Watching Khy grow up has been absolutely breath taking...

I love everything about it...and wouldnt change it for the world..

This week is SPRING BREAK!!!!

I remember when I used to love love love Spring Break...

I can honestly say I NEVER went to school ON my Birthday!!!

Now that Im older.. it is just another day in my book... :)

I do miss the times where Spring Break was exciting... but again..

it's just another day... week.. that goes by!!!

4 of us ladies - went on a "date"!

We went to get our nails done.. and sat in the "special room"...

I aint gonna lie.. that was awkward.

They took us to a room..

where it was just us 4 ladies and the workers..

WHO DOES THAT?!?!?!

Anyways.. oh how we laughed.. -

Im not good in awkard moments...

After becoming "Rockstars" - we went and ate at Olive Garden!

It was awesome! :)

Then we went and did some shopping!

And to top off the evening we ended by having dinner at

Marble Slab!!!

All in all.. GREAT day.. with GREAT people.

.....one of my many ramblings...

People judge off of first impressions... if you say you dont.. you are a liar... I believe you if you say you TRY your hardest NOT to.. but we all do it... it's human nature... and we all know that we are allowed (and most of the times do!) to change our first impression... either way.. bad or good... and recently Ive changed my view... and it feels good to actually get to know someone... not just based on the way you judged them from the start!!! (which I did NOT judge bad.. just not what I expected.. LOL)

New outfit... Great friend

So - when I was in high school - my best friend.. had a friend..

and me and the friend hung out a little.. but nothing big..

 we lost touch after high school..

until we BOTH were pregnant..

and due within two weeks of each other..

and both having GIRLS...

turns out her daughter is TWO days older than Khyler!!!

and we have become really good friends too!!!

She is also pretty crafty - and loves to make things...

she's made Khy a few things.. and this outfit is one of them!!!

I look back at her.. to only find the sweetest thing...

Daddy got a new ride.....

Since Naro is driving farther now to work everyday...

we decided to get him a newer car!!!!

It's a G6 Pontiac - and will upload a pic soon!

We are pretty excited!

Baby Einstein.

So yesterday I learned that Khy can....

1) Drink out of a straw

2) Clog the drain in the tub so the water doesnt drain

.... I did indeed take a picture.. but dont want my nakey baby on the internet!!! :)

I havent blogged since... FRIDAY... WHAT?!?!?!

This weekend we went to visit my In Laws - we havent been down there since Thanksgiving

 (Theyve come up here for Christmas and Khy's Bday party!)

Khy finally got to be forward facing on Friday... so I bought her Bambi for her to watch on the

ride over there! She LOVED the fact that she was forward!! It was so cute!

The weather was cool.. but nice... but the wind was blowing - ugh!

We went fishing on Saturday... and my brother in law caught

the BIGGEST catfish Ive ever seen in my life...

I cant find my camera - or Id upload a pic...

Khy also got to spend time with her cousin Daniel... she hasnt really got to spend time with him.. and since he's living with my In Laws for a while... she's probably going to get to spend ALOT more time with him!!!

Sunday... we got up and went to church.. I love love love going to Mass there!

and then we went out to eat for my mother in laws birthday

and my birthday... both are NEXT week!!!

So this post was probably boring but its MEMORIES people.. MEMORIES!!!!!

:) and of course we had a great time with the family!!!

Ive been made fun of because I take soooo many pics of Khyler.... and because Ive had JRN Photography take soooo many pics of her as well... looking at Kellie's words.. and still having Maddie and The Staats heavy on my heart... Im proud and so glad that Ive taken a TON of pics in Khyler's first year of life!!!

Last night... we learned that she LOVES Peeps!! Gross, right?! I took a Peep away and she threw the biggest Diva fit!!!! It was quite funny to me and JRN!

Do you know the icecream man?

Well apparently the Icecream man in my hometown doesn't like to make $$MONEY$$....

We went for a short visit to Aunt Lora and Uncle Les's house yesterday...

It was such a BEAUTIFUL evening outside!!!!

We heard the icecream truck - and Uncle Les quickly grabbed Khy and headed toward the sounds....

The stinker turned the other way... so Khy and Uncle came back and then we heard the sounds again...

so they went back and stood on the corner patiently waiting...

The stinking driver turned AGAIN... so Uncle Les whistled at him... and whistled and whistled...

and the driver just kept on driving.. what a toot!

Needless to say - Khy Baby and Uncle Les didnt get any icecream... SAD DAY!!! ... lol

She's only worn it... twice?

So... if there was such things as Shop-a-holics Annoymous -

 I know a few people that would need to join! Myself included...

 although Im probably not as bad as I could be!

I have an addiction... and it's my baby girl...

Today IS March 1, 2011

I realized last night that my baby girl IS a full time walker! She pretty much has been for a few weeks, but she was always holding onto something - now... she just takes off like she's been doing it forever! Im so proud but so sad - she isnt a baby anymore.. she's turning into a toddler!!!

 So at 13months Khy Baby is a full time walker!

Today is actually March 1, 2011 - unlike yesturday.

So here is a picture of Khyler in her "Paddy's Day Shirt" for the beginning of March! :)

Can anyone guess why Im so "gung-ho" about St. Patty's Day?? LOL :)
